Meet Andre’a

A healthcare and finance professional, Andre’a founded Progressive Sistas MAGIC to bring representation, accessible education, and guided mentorship to women entering crypto.

Andre’a is a healthcare and finance professional with over seven years of experience in the medical industry, complemented by a foundation in financial services and education. She graduated from Cincinnati State in Medical Assisting and Administrative Duties.

In 2025, she earned national certifications in Medical Billing and Coding through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She is founding a medical billing company to help healthcare providers streamline operations and maximize reimbursements. Earlier work in mutual funds and proxy services sparked her interest in financial literacy and long-term wealth building.

The path to Progressive Sistas MAGIC

Andre’a’s older brother introduced her to the principles of financial independence and the potential of digital assets. She went on to study the crypto ecosystem, decentralized systems, and how blockchain creates and distributes value.

She observed blockchain converging with finance, artificial intelligence, and healthcare. The presentation describes her watching BlackRock, Fidelity, JPMorgan Chase, Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal move into crypto, alongside engagement from the U.S. Treasury, Federal Reserve, SEC, and CFTC. She saw a need for a supportive voice encouraging women, especially sistas, to enter and thrive in crypto.

That need led her to create a platform for structured learning, ongoing support, and guidance from industry experts. Its purpose is to equip women of color with crypto and DeFi knowledge and build a supportive network for digital financial success.
